Our services vary greatly depending on what individual clients need, which is why we offer bespoke quotes tailored to your specific request. Tailored quotes are based on the minimum hourly rates suggested by the CIEP (Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading):

Proofreading
£29.95/Hour (£22 Introductory Offer*)
Copy Editing
£34.70/Hour (£30 Introductory Offer*)
Proofreading per Hour
Once we are accustomed to a client’s work, we will proofread approximately 3,000 words per hour. Please note that when we proofread a piece of work for a new client, it may take a little longer to proofread 1,000 words.
This is because we need to familiarise ourselves with the style guide and the format of the writing. With this in mind, a first commission from a new customer will always incur a discounted price of £22 per hour.

We cannot easily estimate how many words can be copy edited per hour as this is dependent on various factors, including:

Once provided, your quote will be valid for 30 days. Any submissions will be held securely and, should you not proceed with my services, will be deleted after this time.
